MICRO - CONTAINMENT ORDER FOR CHIMBEL

The District Magistrate, North Goa has declared the part of Ward No.5

i.e. Xerent, Chimbel Village comprising of  H.No. 96,94,91, 93, 90, 55,86,84, 85, 82/2, 81/5,89,98 & 99, as micro Containment Zone. The District Magistrate, has also declare remaining part of ward No.5 i.e. Xirent, Chimbel Village as Buffer Zones for all purpose and objectives prescribed in the protocol of Covid -19 to prevent its spread in the adjoining  areas.

 

        Sufficient number of teams comprising of Medical Personel , ANM for conducting door to door  thermal screening of each and every person of entire household falling in Containment Zone shall be deployed by the Health Officer, Primary Health Centre, Chimbel.

 

        The entire areas of Containment  Zone will be fully sanitized  by the V. P. Secretary, Village Panchayat Chimbel, Movement of public i.e the inhabitants of Containment Zone shall be absolutely restricted and the entire Containment Zone shall be sealed by deployment of adequate  police force and setting up of required  number  of Nakas . In the Containment Zones, there shall be strict perimeter  control  to ensure that there is no movement of population  in or out of these Zones except for medical emergencies  and for maintaining supply of essential goods and services. The guidelines issued in this regard by MoHFW will be strictly implemented.

 

        Demand of essential goods/commodities such as raw/dry ration /milk/grocery/ medicine/vegetables shall be worked out and list shall be prepared. There shall be separate packets of vegetable,  ration/ grocery  items milk etc delivery of the same would be ensured at the door step.

 

In Containment Zones, Out- patient Departments ( OPDs) and Medical Clinics shall not be permitted to operate . However, these may be permitted to operate with social distancing  norms   and other safety  precaution.

 

Any violation shall invite criminal proceedings under the relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act ,2005 and the Indian penal  Code, 1860.

 

The sub- Divisional Magistrate,  Tiswadi  shall be overall – incharge  of  the Containment  Zone  and Buffer  Zone  and over  - see  all the arrangements. 

 

All the Officers/ officials on duty shall perform / discharge their duties efficiently and any laxity on the part of any Officer / official will attract strict action under the provisions of Disaster Management Act, 2005.
