The Directorate of Education, State Council of Educational Research and Training (S.C.E.R.T.) and  Goa Samagra Shiksha (GSS), in association with Adhyayan Foundation, Tata Trusts and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad  will be organizing four days on-line training program on “Effective Planning for Achievement of  Learning Outcomes”  for all the Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary school teachers of the State.  


 The program will help to enable school leaders and teachers to engage with virtual platforms and pedagogical processes they enable, for learners to learn synchronously and asynchronously, from the material available online. To enable teachers to plan their academic year, taking into account the number of teaching days, summative assessments, events and activities. To enable teachers to plan the Units and Lessons based on the choice of Open Education Resources available and the mode of delivery of information and to enable school leaders and teachers to track the learning of the students to ensure that learning outcomes are improving.


The program will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, 406 Master Trainers comprising of teachers and Heads of Schools (from Primary, Secondary & Hr. Secondary Schools).  Faculty from DIET and BRCC shall be trained online by the experts from TISS and Adhyayan Foundation on May 5 to 8, 2020. Subsequently, these Master Trainers will provide online training to the teachers from May 13 to16, 2020.


It is planned to provide online training to around 10500 teachers of all stages of school education.
