CENSUS 2021 OPERATIONS TO BEGIN IN APRIL

The Census of India 2021 is being conducted in two phases, namely (i) Houselisting & Housing Census & Updation of National Population  Register (NPR) & (ii) Population Enumeration. During the first phase, the buildings, Census House & Households are identified & systematically listed in the Schedules/App. Government of Goa has notified Houselisting & Updation of NPR from April 16 to May 30, 2020. 

The Chief Secretary of Goa Shri. Parimal Rai, IAS will inaugurate and address the function of Census operations in presence of the Finance Secretary and Director of Census Operations.

 

3000 Enumerators & 500 Supervisors will be deployed by the state for house to house visit to collect individual particulars.
