  APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR VOLUNTARY SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER

            Directorate of Women and Child Development, Panaji has invited applications for appointment of panel of voluntary, Non-Government organization or person for North and South Goa for providing assonance to concerned Police Authorities/Special Police Unit/Child Welfare Police Officer as per procedure provided under Rules8(8) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016 in Goa.

 

            Any person working with children in the field of Education, health or welfare activities, or any practicing professional with degree in Child Psychology or Psychiatry or Social Work or Sociology or Human Development or in the field of law or a retired judicial officer will be considered.

 

            The services may be called by the Police or Special Police Unit or the Child Welfare Police Office as and when they need to assist in the Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016. The services of the Panel of Voluntary or Non-Government Organization or Person is on voluntary basis and he/she is not entitle to any allowances/honorarium.

 

            The Voluntary or Non-Government Organization or Person from the residential District will be consider for the appointment of the above panel for that particular District. Government Servant/Co-operation/Autonomous Bodies may not apply for the said post. Speaking knowledge of the Konkani, Marathi, Hindi and English will be preferred.

 

            The eligible desirous person or Voluntary or Non-Government Organization are requested to submit their application  the Directorate of Women and Child Development, 2nd floor, Old Education Dept. Bldg., 18th June Road, Panaji-403001. Self attested copies of all qualification certificates, birth certificate and other documents along with names, address and contact numbers of two reference of reputed persons in the State and credential of the NGOs shall be submitted on or before May 31, 2018. Incomplete applications and those without supporting documents will be liable for outright rejection.
